Mechanical Project Engineer
12-month contract opportunity leading mechanical design on a major UK infrastructure programme.
Manchester, UK Contract £500 – £650 / day
The role
- Lead mechanical design and delivery across multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Manage subcontractors, schedules and on-site installation activities.
- Produce technical specifications, drawings, and engineering reports.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure delivery against scope, cost and time.
What you'll bring
- Degree (BEng/MEng) in Mechanical Engineering; Chartered status preferred.
- 8+ years of project engineering experience in infrastructure, energy or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and project management tools.
- Eligible to work in the UK; site presence in Manchester required.
