UK visa sponsorship FAQs

The questions overseas candidates ask us most about finding a licensed UK sponsor.

Which UK jobs offer visa sponsorship in 2026?

Sponsorship is available across healthcare and social care, nursing, IT and software, engineering and construction, and skilled hospitality roles. Any job at RQF Level 3 or above with a licensed sponsor paying the going rate can be sponsored.

How do I find a UK employer with a sponsor licence?

The Home Office publishes a register of licensed sponsors, updated daily. Gobblex Recruiter only advertises roles from employers on that register, so every vacancy we place can support a Certificate of Sponsorship.

Do I need a job offer before applying for a UK work visa?

Yes. Both the Skilled Worker and Health and Care Worker visas require a confirmed job offer and a Certificate of Sponsorship from a licensed sponsor before you can submit your visa application.

How long does UK visa sponsorship take from offer to arrival?

Typically eight to twelve weeks: one to two weeks for the Certificate of Sponsorship, three weeks for a standard visa decision (five working days with priority), then travel and onboarding.

Does Gobblex Recruiter charge candidates for sponsorship?

No. We are paid by the employer. Candidates are never charged a placement fee, and it is illegal in the UK for a sponsor to pass the sponsor licence or Certificate of Sponsorship fee on to a worker.
