Gobblex Recruiter places candidates only with employers who already hold a sponsor licence.

How the application works

  1. Eligibility check. We map your experience to an eligible SOC code and confirm the salary clears the going rate.
  2. Matching. Your CV is put in front of licensed sponsors actively recruiting from overseas.
  3. Interview. Most employers run one or two video interviews plus a technical or practical check.
  4. Certificate of Sponsorship. The employer assigns your CoS through the Sponsor Management System.
  5. Visa application. Apply online, pay the Immigration Health Surcharge, attend biometrics and travel.

Frequently asked questions

What is the salary threshold for a UK Skilled Worker visa?

The general threshold is £38,700 per year, but you must be paid the higher of that figure and the going rate for your occupation code. Health and care roles, new entrants and PhD-level occupations have lower thresholds.

How long does a Skilled Worker visa last?

Up to five years at a time. It can be extended, and after five continuous years of qualifying residence most holders can apply for indefinite leave to remain.

Can I bring my family on a Skilled Worker visa?

Yes. Partners and children under 18 can usually apply as dependants, with the right to work and study in the UK, subject to the current dependant rules for your route.

Do I need a degree for a Skilled Worker visa?

No. The role only needs to sit at RQF Level 3 (A-level equivalent) or above. Relevant experience and vocational qualifications are often enough.
